The Speech settings allow you to configure how Visual Studio Project Builder uses speech synthesis to announce the completion of builds.

 

 

 

 

If you wish to be send build notifications via email select the Announce build notifications... check box.

 

Specify the speech synthesiser using the Use this speech synthesiser field. Type the file name or use the Microsoft File Browser by clicking the Browse... button.

 

You can add any extra arguments to customize the speech synthesiser using the Additional speech synthesiser arguments field. For the speech synth say.exe there are no additional arguments.

 

Test the speech synthesiser by typing a test phrase then clicking Test Speech.

 

Reset

 

The Reset button will cause the settings on all parts of the settings dialog to be reset.
